In November 2025, the United States Under-16 Boys’ National Team participated in an international friendly tournament in L’Albir, Spain, as part of their development cycle toward future World Cup qualification. The squad, coached by Paul Simpson, participated in three international matches that included a 6–3 win over Sweden on November 3, a 2–0 loss to Spain on November 6, and a 2–1 victory against Qatar on November 8, providing young talents with valuable international experience against European and global opposition.
